India will take on England in the third Test on Thursday, July 10, at Lord's Cricket Ground. The visitors made a roaring comeback in the second Test at Edgbaston as they managed to win at the venue for the first time in nine matches played. Skipper Shubman Gill played a starring role in India's 336-run win and has enabled the series to level 1-1.
The third Test promises to be a cracking affair as two of the game's fearsome bowlers return - Jofra Archer and Jasprit Bumrah. The former is making a comeback after a four-year hiatus. The latter is back after being rested due to workload management for the second Test. With Lord's pitch set to be on the greener side, the bowlers are set to have a massive say then the first two Tests.

IND vs ENG Match Preview
It's fair to say India has dominated in the first two Tests of the series. Before the start of the big tour, there were a lot of talks revolving around the way the batters would play, more so ever with the Test retirements of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. So far, the batting has looked impeccable, with standout being Gill and vice-captain Rishabh Pant. The former has already scored 524 runs and is looking in sublime form to add more runs before the series culminates.

The bowling has also looked solid, with the visitors managing to win despite the absence of Bumrah for the second Test. Mohammed Siraj and Aksh Deep bowled beautifully and picked up six-fers in the first and second innings respectively. With the return of Bumrah for the third Test, India is looking even more potent. Also, the premier pacer has a very good record in Lord's, and if the pitch remotely also offers help for bowlers, then Bumrah will be a force to reckon with.
Meanwhile, for hosts, it's all about how they manage to take 20 wickets. With the return of Archer, the bowling attack will get a massive boost. The pacer is known to bowl at an intimidating pace and also reverse the old ball. But the main question remains will he get support from the other end? Carse has toiled hard and has not had much success, while Woakes has looked a bit inconsistent.
